The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, WAGGGS, brings together Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting Member Organisations (MOs) across the world. We have the privilege of acting as a unifying thread that weaves the Movement together as a united force for girls' education and development in the world.

While each Member Organisation is independent, what connects us – staff, volunteers and youth members – is our commitment to a set of shared values and principles and the belief that through Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting, girls and young women can develop their fullest potential as responsible citizens of the world.

Since 1928, WAGGGS has expanded to include 152 Member Organisations from across the world, evolved to empower millions of women and girls of all backgrounds, and kept the flame of the Movement alive for all to see. WAGGGS serves the entire Movement, by connecting and supporting Member Organisations, facilitating shared international experiences and fostering international friendships for life.

As a Movement, in 2021, we voted for Compass 2032, a new vision statement for the Girl Guide and Girl Scout Movement. It sets us on the path that every Member Organisation and the WAGGGS Global Team will travel from now until 2032.

As Girl Guide and Girls Scout organisations, we want an equal world where all girls can thrive.

Our collective vision for the Movement is that by 2032 we will be a girl-led Movement where every and any girl feels confident to lead and empowered to create a better world together.

Working towards Compass 2032 is a shared responsibility for all Girl Guide and Girl Scout organisations – and we as WAGGGS want to understand how we can best support you as our Members, to fully contribute to this vision.
That’s why we are asking you to help us shape our offer for the future.

This survey breaks down the services and activities that WAGGGS currently offers to you as a Member Organisation. We want to understand your thoughts and opinions about what we offer, what is most useful and least useful to you and why.

We ask that you think about your answers carefully, so they represent the views of your Member Organisation. As your responses are representing your association, you may want to meet with a group to discuss before submitting your Member Organisation’s responses.
